Breakthrough Magnet School South

The Pre-K and K/1 teams are excited to host a new fundraiser to support My Sister's Place, a women’s and children’s shelter in Hartford. On Friday, May 29, students will participate in our first school walkathon at staggered times throughout the day. Donations will be collected during the week of May 26 via cash or Venmo. Please see attached flyer for Venmo code. Any contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated. Families are welcome to donate throughout the week, and we also encourage you to spread the word to relatives and friends to help us make a meaningful impact together. The class that raises the most donations will earn a party of their choosing. There will also be a sign-up on ParentSquare for families interested in supervising grade levels during the walk or contributing fun items and supplies to help make the walkathon extra special for students.
